This is a list of things that I think are important
in no particular order

The danger of Artificial Intelligence if it puts
self-preservation above everything else (the way people do)

Artificial intelligence can apply logic to data and arrive at
conclusions. It it can solve problems quicker and better than a
human could. For instance, it plays better at chess and Go. It
also has potential for replacing human experts like doctors,
judges, lawyers and tax advisers, where it can look at all the
options and their dependencies and determine the optimal result
by logic, overlooking nothing, extremely quickly. There is
nothing special about AI, it is just powerful. In animals, there is a level of brain activity called
consciousness where the demands of basic instincts are
considered for action in the light of experience and the
current situation to obtain desired outcomes. For instance my
cat liked to enter the bathroom and hop up the cupboards to
get out through the little window above. Once, when I was
there, saw the cat approach and look up. When it saw that the
little window was closed, it stalked off in a huff (it seemed
to me). Maybe a monkey, being more intelligent, would have
found a way of opening the window.

Humans (and other organisms that have been able to survive)
have two basic instincts, and they are to survive and
reproduce (at any cost). Sometimes this means being assertive
and sometimes it means being cooperative. There is a dynamic
balance between the interests of the individual and the group
it belongs to, as gene survival needs both.

The danger with Artificial Intelligence is the possibility of
it acquiring the same goals as the basic instincts of
organisms (sometimes called "becomes sentient"), this would
place it in direct competition for resources, and if it found
humans in its way it would push them aside, easily.

I wrote a novel about this issue that I published on Apple
Books. You can find it here with links to all the background
material that I used in my research.

Taking
          ownership of the English Language

        The
UK needs to take ownership of spoken English because it is an
immense source of prestige and revenue. Also, it would help
everyone to communicate if there were an official standard of
spoken English. Artificial Intelligence now makes this easy to
          achieve.
